Basketball Leagues
Basketball leagues and tournaments seem to be growing each year whether its recreational or competitive. Games are played almost every weekend, and due to that fact, the need for officials are always in high demand. This gives officials the perfect opportunity to hone their skills at an accelerated pace.
Basketball represents the largest number of games in the Referee365 portfolio. Whether you are looking to work youth leagues, adult leagues or high school aged competitive club ball, there is something for you. We also partner with several high school associations that assign games when you are ready for the next challenge.
It is highly recommended that you are registered with the state you live in in order to officiate.
New official training will be held throughout the year and will consist of rules knowledge, mechanics, communication and game management.
There are several summer camps hosted by high school associations across the metro each year dedicated to your growth and development. Those details will be populated on the Referee365 Calendar when the dates are made available.

Associated Costs
There are costs associated with becoming a basketball official — you should budget approximately $100-$200 for Basketball. Official's can quickly earn that back after officiating their first few games. This covers the costs associated with registration and a new uniform to start off your new career.
