Football is as popular as ever, especially with 7v7 and flag football leagues taking off. Games are played starting in the early spring through the end of fall. For people that love to be outdoors and want to stay close to the game of football, officiating gives you the perfect opportunity.
Referee365 has a growing portfolio of leagues and tournaments that we assign football officials for. We also partner with several high school associations that assign games when you are ready for the next step.
It is highly recommended that you are registered with the National Federation in the state you live in order to officiate.
New official training will be held twice a year and will consist of rules knowledge, mechanics, communication, game management and field work.
There are several summer camps hosted by high school associations across the metro each year dedicated to your growth and development. Those details will be populated on the Referee365 Calendar when the dates are made available.
Below is a partial list of the leagues and tournaments that we schedule:
Kansas City Football & Cheer (KCFC)
Catholic Youth Organization (CYO)
Fort Leavenworth Youth Sports
Elite 7v7
MoKan 7v7
There are costs associated with becoming a baseball umpire — you should budget approximately $150-$230 for tackle football. Official's can quickly earn that back after officiating their first few games. This covers the costs associated with registration and a new uniform to start off your new career. Entry-level starter uniform kits which can be purchased here.
We are always recruiting for current and upcoming seasons for football, basketball and baseball officials. Click the link below to join the team!
